Band Camp was held June 12th-23rd, with an average of 10 participants. The goal of this camp was to begin rebuilding LCHS's band program. Guest instructor Mr. Jovon Milford, Assistant Band Director from Allen University, led a refresher clinic where students studied music theory and practiced formations.
Our district has since brought in two new music/band teachers Ms. Chelsy Harris and Mr. Matthew Page that will serve our secondary schools and continue the process of rebuilding our band program. We are excited to witness the rebirth of this program and wish them much success in the future.
