Florence School District 3 is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year from students interested in attending Olanta Creative Arts & Science Magnet School (5K - 6th grade) and J. Paul Truluck Creative Arts & Science Magnet School (7th - 12th grade).
Our magnet programs provide enhanced and enrichment opportunities to permit a wide range of possibilities for expression of knowledge in science, technology, and performing arts.
The application period is open from January 16 through February 2, 2024. The online application is available at https://florence3.novuschoice.com/. The application closes at 11:59 pm on Friday, February 2, 2024.
When submitting an application, please note the following:
- In order to apply for 5K students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024,
- Student is eligible for a seat only in the grade for which they apply,
- Parents are encouraged to fill out applications on behalf of their students,
- Complete and submit one application for each child,
- Please fill out as much of the application as possible,
- Lottery applications are not being accepted for Olanta’s 4K Child Development Program; 4K is held separately at a different date/time. Please contact Mary Howard ([email protected]) for more information about 4K registration.
School administration teams are available to assist you in the application process or you may contact the district office for assistance.
If you successfully complete the lottery application process, you will be emailed a lottery application number as well as have a lottery application number/ID show up at the end of the application process. If you do not receive the lottery application number, your child’s application is NOT complete.
