Students, parents and staff filled the Lake City High School track on Monday, November 10, for Florence School District 3’s annual Reading Under the Lights event, an evening dedicated to celebrating literacy and family engagement.

The event encouraged families to read together and support student learning while providing free books for students to take home and enjoy. Alongside reading activities, attendees were treated to performances by the Lake City High School Marching Band, the Lake City Early Childhood Center Exquisite Pearls and the Main Street Elementary School Cheer Squad.

A huge thank you to all volunteers, staff, and community members who helped organize and support the event. Their efforts ensured another successful and memorable Reading Under the Lights celebration for the FSD3 community.
