Florence School District 3 is committed to keeping our community informed. On January 7, we were notified by PowerSchool about a cybersecurity breach, and FSD3’s student data may have been breached. On January 8, we were notified by the South Carolina Department of Education about a cybersecurity breach involving PowerSchool, the company that hosts our student information system.

In response, FSD3 has activated its local response plan and is thoroughly investigating the potential impact on our district. We will provide updates as new information becomes available. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to address this situation.
