Two newly-elected members and two reelected members of the Florence School District 3 Board of Trustees were sworn in at the beginning of the board’s regular monthly meeting Thursday, January 16.
The five were elected to four-year terms on the board of trustees in last November’s general elections.
New board member Steve Locklair (Seat 7A) and Gregory McKnight (Seat 2), along with re-elected board members Rutha Frieson (Seat 4A) and Dr. Julia Mims (Seat 5) each took the oath of office.
Board members were invited to have family members or other loved ones hold the Bibles while taking the oath of office.
