Florence County School District 3 has designated Monday, February 2, as an e-learning day due to severe weather and hazardous road conditions.
Students will receive instructional assignments and, if needed, district-provided devices to complete their work remotely. Assignments will be due no later than three days after students return to school. Students who submit assignments by the deadline will be marked present for the missed day. Additional information about the district’s e-learning plan is available at https://tinyurl.com/2cchm5m6.
All district employees will work remotely on February 2. Supervisors will coordinate work assignments within their respective departments.
The district will continue to assess weather and road conditions throughout the weekend to determine when normal school operations can safely resume.
Any updates regarding school operations will be communicated through the district’s automated calling system, website (www.florence3.k12.sc.us), Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/florencecountyschooldistrict3), and local media outlets.
