FSD3 Offering Free Summer Meals for Children

Florence District Three will offer Pre-Packaged Multi-Day Meals free of charge to area eligible children who are 18 years old and younger.  The Multi-Day Meals can be picked up for students who will not  participate in school district-based programs during the summer.  The district food service van or school bus will be located at the following sites June 1, 8, 15 and 22, 2026, at the scheduled times below.

Supplies are limited and will be available on a first come first served basis.

Meal Pick Up Schedule

  • Lake City Housing Authority Matthews Road: 8:30-9:30 a.m.
  • Durant Street in Lake City: 9:45-10:45 a.m.
  • Wren Village & Morning Glory: 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Airport Circle in Lake City: 8:30-9:30 a.m.
  • Ray Street in Lake City: 9:45-10:45 a.m.
  • Bozy Road, Scranton: 9:45-10:45 a.m.                      
  • Olanta Elementary Cafeteria Parking Lot: 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.                                                                   

Meal packages will include seven days of school lunch and breakfast meals. Some items included in the meals will be ready-to-eat and others will be heat-and-serve items.  Meals may be distributed to an adult when child is not present if the adult is able to demonstrate proof of the child’s identity or has completed the guardian meal consent form. A student’s ID number is a valid form of proof of identity.
