FSD3 will host Champions of Learning Summer Camps focused on the highly engaged learning activities in CORE instructional areas. Champions of Learning will provide a challenging learning environment that builds creative thinkers through the Arts & Sciences with real-world project based experiences. Come explore summer learning with us!
Camp Sites:
* Lake City Early Childhood Center (906 N. Matthews Road - Lake City, SC) - 4K-3rd grade camps, and LCECCA 21st Century.
* J. Paul Truluck Magnet: 7th-11th grade Content/Attendance Recovery
* Boys & Girls Club: 1st-6th grade camps
The goals of Champions of Learning is to provide engaging reading, writing, and math instruction in support of moving each student closer to grade level proficiency. Champions of Learning will also host summer reading camp for 1st and 3rd students based on the Read to Succeed law (Act 114).
Champions of Learning:
Thursday, May 28 - Thursday, June 18. The hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m and will run Mondays through Fridays. Transportation to and from camp will be provided.
Please complete the summer camp application. This application will serve as your child's informational sheet while he/she is in attendance for academic camp. Information on this application will be the academic camp staff's way to contact parents as well as emergency persons if needed. Please make sure to include current phone numbers as well as addresses.
