Florence School District 3's board of trustees elected officers for the 2026 calendar year during its regular monthly meeting Thursday, January 15.
Jason Kirby, who has served on the board of trustees since 2019, was elected as board chair. Jac'Kel Brown, a board member since 2019, was elected vice-chair. Rebecca Yates, who has served on the bard since 2022, was re-elected board secretary.
Board officers are elected each January for one-year terms. Board officers can serve no more than two consecutive terms.
