Florence School District 3 has named Amishacoe Fulmore Graham as the interim director of the Office of Exceptional Children.
Mrs. Fulmore Graham has been employed in education in FSD3 for 24 years. She has served as a classroom teacher and master teacher at Lake City High School and later as an assistant principal at Main Street Elementary and J. C. Lynch Elementary schools.
She has served as the district’s special education administrator for the past four years. During that time, she has assisted special and general education in best practices for delivering instruction to students with disabilities and ensuring compliance with federal and state Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) guidelines.
Mrs. Graham earned a Bachelor of Science degree in history and secondary education from Lander University and a Master of Education in secondary administration from The Citadel.
