College Planning Session for Parents, Students

Florence School District 3 and author, educator and college planning expert Mychal Wynn will host a free live virtual session Saturday, May 16, from 1-2 p.m. to explain to FSD3 parents and students how students can benefit from attending the upcoming middle school and high school College Planning Boot Camps.

Mr. Wynn will dispel the myths about college admissions and scholarships, provide examples of full scholarship recipients and explain the concept of ‘Backwards Mapping’ and why middle school students should be working now toward full scholarship pathways.

The Boot Camp, which will also be held as live virtual sessions, is scheduled for Monday, June 22, through Thursday, June 25, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. daily.

The Boot Camp and all materials are free.
