FSD3 to Hold Virtual High School Summer School

Florence School District 3 will hold virtual high school summer school for eligible students Mondays-Fridays, June 8 through July 24.

To be eligible for Florence School District 3’s Summer School Program participants must be currently enrolled in a FSD3 high school (Lake City Early College or J. Paul Truluck). Students may earn up to two credits.

To register for the summer program, contact your home school counselor and complete packet with your counselor. The deadline for registering is Friday, June 12. Students may also register online at FSD3 Virtual High School Summer School.

Daily attendance is required until course(s) is/are completed.

All coursework is completed online through FSD3’s Virtual School Program. Students will be required to report to the Virtual Learning Center on Westover Street in Lake City to have all tests proctored. The Virtual Center will be open from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. daily for assistance and test monitoring by appointment only in order to ensure social distancing guidelines.

Once coursework is completed, students will no longer attend summer school.

Students are expected to adhere to FSD3’s discipline policy. Violations of the discipline policy will result in removal from the program.
