Lake City High School’s Athletic Booster Club will hold its second annual helicopter golf ball drop to help raise funds for the school’s athletics program.
The drop will take place Saturday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. in the infield of the Lake City High School track.
Golf balls can be purchased for $10 each. All purchased balls will be dropped simultaneously from a helicopter. The person whose golf ball lands closest to the hole will win $1,500. The ball second closest will win $500 and the third closest will win $250. The ball that lands farthest from the hold will win $50.
