Florence School District 3 will hold summer camps which focus on the "Essential Learning Standards" at each grade level for both English Language Arts and Math.

Students attending FSD3's 2020 "Rock n' Learn" Academic Camps have been selected based upon their Winter MAP data. Parent letters for the identified students were mailed Friday, March 22, 2020.  In order for students to attend, parents must complete an online application.
Please note the following information about FSD3 2020 "Rock n' Learn" Academic Camps:

The camp for 4K-3rd grade will be held at Lake City Early Childhood Center (906 N. Matthews Road, Lake City, SC); and 
The camp for 4th-6th grades will be held at Main Street Elementary (318 E. Main St., Lake City, SC).
The goal of FSD3's 2020 "Rock n' Learn" Academic Camps are to provide additional reading, writing, and math instruction in support of moving each student closer to grade level proficiency. 
FSD3's 2020 "Rock n' Learn" Academic Camps will be held July 6-31 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.

Students in 5K-6th grades will be set up in two different groups for camp attendance. Group A will attend Monday, Wednesday and Friday for weeks 1 and 3; Tuesday and Thursday during weeks 2 and 4. Group B will attend Tuesday and Thursday during weeks 1 and 3; Monday, Wednesday, Friday during weeks 2 and 4.

All 4K students attending the camp will attend Mondays-Thursdays from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

It is important that children who participate in the camps are committed and consistently attend their scheduled days to fully benefit from this additional instruction.

Transportation to and from camp will be provided. Breakfast and lunch will be served.

This application will serve as a student’s informational sheet while he/she is in attendance at FSD3's 2020 "Rock n' Learn" Academic Camps. Information on this application will be the academic camp staff's way to contact parents as well as emergency persons if needed. Please make sure to include current phone numbers as well as addresses.
